Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and SKENE ("we", "us") for the Block Kingdom app (the "game"). By downloading or playing the game, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the game. Our Privacy Policy explains what data the game collects.

1. Your license to play

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the game on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, as allowed by Apple's Usage Rules in the App Store terms. The game is licensed to you, not sold.

2. Fair play

Please don't:

• copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the game, except where the law allows it despite this term;
• cheat, use bots or tools to change the game or its data, or exploit bugs;
• interfere with the game's servers or other players' fun;
• use the game for anything illegal.

If you find a bug, please tell us at support@skene.ws instead.

3. Coins, stars and boosters

Coins, stars, boosters and other in-game items are part of the game. They have no real-world money value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything outside the game, and cannot be sold or transferred. We may change how they work as we balance the game.

Your progress and items are stored only on your device. If you delete the game or lose the device, they may be lost, and we cannot restore them.

4. Purchases

The game has no purchases today. If we add in-app purchases, they will be sold and processed by Apple under the App Store terms, Apple's refund rules will apply, and we will update these terms before they go live. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law, such as Korea's Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.

5. Ownership

The game, including its art, characters, music, sounds, text and code, belongs to SKENE or its licensors. Block Kingdom uses open-source software and fonts under their own licenses, listed on the open-source licenses page. Those licenses apply to those parts.

6. Changes to the game

We keep improving the game. We may add, change or remove features, levels, items and settings, run experiments that give different players slightly different versions, and update or stop offering the game. We will try to give notice of big changes in the game or on this website.

7. No warranty

We work hard to make the game fun and reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost progress or in-game items. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

9. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the game or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for any claims about it, such as product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, or claims that it infringes someone's intellectual property. We are responsible for handling those. If the game fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. You must also follow any third-party terms that apply when you use the game, such as your wireless data service agreement. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

10. Ending these terms

You can stop at any time by deleting the game. If you seriously break these terms, your license to use the game ends.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes go to the court with jurisdiction under Korea's Civil Procedure Act. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and give notice in the game or on this page at least 7 days before the changes take effect, or 30 days before for changes that are unfavorable to you. If you keep playing after that, the new terms apply.
